The Wellbeing Farm Wedding

Jun 23, 2018

I really enjoyed my first time photographing a wedding at The Wellbeing Farm in Bolton, Lancashire.

Zoe and Dale wanted their wedding to be focused on the things they loved the most – family and food. They wanted a wedding that would be as fun for the children as the adults, and where everyone would be spoilt and really be able to join in the celebrations. They originally looked at other more formal venues, but then found the Wellbeing Farm and knew this would be the venue for them. The Wellbeing Farm is set in the most beautiful countryside with a large, rustic barn which are perfect for the ceremony and reception. Additionally, everyone can enjoy the multitude of outbuildings and outside space that surrounds the Wellbeing Farm. This wedding at The Wellbeing Farmwas such a wonderful day to be a part of.

The Wedding Day at The Wellbing Farm

As the guests arrived they loved seeing the Llamas and Donkeys in their bowties and flat caps. We all thought barn looked stunning with a white curtain backdrop, flower arch and haybales. After the beautiful ceremony, Zoe and Dale were showered with confetti by their friends and family. Everyone really enjoyed the very thoughtful snacks and drinks available (this really was a foodie wedding!). The events team brought out the llamas to see Zoe, Dale and their guests and everyone loved taking selfies with them. The children didn’t seem to leave the bouncy castle all day and guests of all ages enjoyed the mini-golf course. It was lovely to see how Zoe and Dale had really thought about providing entertainment for everyone.

The Evening at The Wellbeing Farm

The couple really wanted the afternoon and evening to be very chilled and relaxed. Other than stopping for a couple of group photos and a couple of portraits, the couple were able to just soak up their day. The dancing in the evening was fantastic, with many a 90’s classic getting lots of guests onto the dancefloor.
