If you’re planning a wedding at Millennium Gallery in Sheffield, you’ll love this wedding for inspiration!
Katie and Cherno got married in their church and had their wedding reception at the Millennium Gallery in Sheffield. It was a gorgeous day and the sun shone all day long!
The Botanical Gardens
Katie and Cherno decided to head to Sheffield Botanical Gardens to have some portraits together before heading to the reception. I highly recommend this to anyone planning a Sheffield city centre wedding as the gardens are absolutely gorgeous. You need to book a slot but it is completely free.
The reception
The reception was in a beautiful room at the Millennium Gallery – I love this venue because the light is gorgeous. Weddings at Millennium Gallery are amazing because the building is both stunning and unique. The couple had arrival drinks in the afternoon, followed by a slap-up meal. They had some fantastic speeches, including a brilliant speech from Cherno’s mum (I’m a big fan of women doing speeches!). The first dance was a romantic slow dance which ended with lots of confetti canons. They finished off the evening with lots of chatting and dancing.
The couple
Katie wore a classic white dress and Cherno wore a stunning trouser suit and they looked really perfect. The stunning bridesmaid dresses were bought secondhand from Vinted and looked stunning.
The couple got in touch with me last year, and their enquiry was really touching. They said Katie had loved my work for a long time as I have shot several of her friend’s weddings. It was really lovely to be invited back into this group of friends to capture another special day.
