Naomi and Phil booked me to capture their incredible wedding at The Old Barn Esholt, and what an absolutely gorgeous day it was! From the relaxed morning energy to the beautiful country lanes, every single moment of this West Yorkshire wedding was a complete joy to photograph.
The day began with Naomi and Phil getting ready nearby at Hollins Hall Hotel. Once everyone was dressed, excited, and ready to go, it was time to head straight over to the venue for the main event.
Naomi and Phil chose to have a beautiful registrar ceremony conducted right inside the barn. If you’ve never been, The Old Barn at Esholt is an absolute dream for a rustic civil ceremony. The combination of exposed Yorkshire stone, high-draped ceilings, and wooden beams wrapped in twinkling fairy lights creates the coziest, most romantic atmosphere to say your “I dos.”
After the ceremony, everyone headed outside into the beautiful gardens for a massive shower of confetti and plenty of hugs, laughs, and congratulations from their favorite people.
Inside the barn, guests settled down for an absolutely delicious meal, followed by a round of brilliant, heartfelt speeches that had the whole room laughing and crying in equal measure.
Just before it was time for the first dance, we nipped out for a quick stroll down the lane to get some couples photos. It was great to grab a bit of fresh air and some relaxed, casual shots of Naomi and Phil before the evening party got started properly!
With the photos done, it was time to party! We headed back inside where Naomi and Phil hit the dance floor for their first dance, kicking off an epic night of celebrating, clinking glasses, and dancing the night away with all their guests.
