Whirlow Brook Hall Wedding

If you’re planning a Whirlow Brook Hall wedding, check out this blog for inspo!

Kirsty and Ben got married at Whirlow Brook Hall, which is a country house near the centre of Sheffield with stunning grounds. It was the most beautiful wedding and the sun even made an appearance!

The Ceremony

The ceremony was an intimate service in a beautiful room in Whirlow Brook Hall. During the ceremony, they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was really lovely. They chose to have a small ceremony and have more guests arrive before the speeches in the afternoon.

The Reception

The couple had a drinks reception after the ceremony followed by afternoon tea. Their GORGEOUS dog Monty came to join in the fun and we went for a little walk to get some cute photos. More guests arrived after this and they stayed outside on the lawn for their speeches. In the evening they had a love band and lots of food bowls for the guests.

THE COUPLE

The couple got in touch with me last year, and their enquiry was really lovely. They said they were very camera shy, which so many of my couples say! Because the focus of my photography is the natural moments, they didn’t need to worry. I loved that they were planning to bring their dog along.

Advice for planning your Whirlow Brook Hall wedding

Whirlow Brook Hall is not short on space. The rooms upstairs are beautiful to get ready in. The terrace and front lawn area are perfect for a chilled drinks reception and lawn games.

Why Whirlow Brook Hall is a great venue to get married

Whirlow Brook Hall is really peaceful but yet easy to get to. It is one of the nicest places to get married in Sheffield. The venue offers amazing food – and there are so many beautiful spots that are perfect for photos.
