I absolutely loved photographing my first wedding at Sheaf St Leeds. It’s such a chilled out venue with the perfect party atmosphere. The space is gorgeous and all the people were lovely making it a perfect day to be a part of.
I first spoke to Esme and Matt a few months ago and they talked about how they wanted their wedding to have a real feel of a trip to the pub. Everything from the dress code to the timeline was really relaxed. I started the day at Esme’s hotel capturing some photographs of Esme getting ready. This was a swelteringly hot day and the hotel room was even hotter than the outside, but the atmosphere was super chilled. I then headed to meet Matt at the pub and walked with him and his best man accross to the Civic Hall. The ceremony was lovely with some readings from friends and lots of tears from Esme. We headed outside for some confetti and then walked down to sheaf st for the reception.
Wedding Photography at Sheaf St Leeds
Sheaf St is located in a quiet part of time close to Leeds dock. It’s got real industrial feel and a perfect little ‘yarden’ at the back. Esma and Matt had the amazing Top Tier Bass play. So many of the couples guests were dancing and the atmosphere was amazing. Sheaf St requires outside caterers and Esme and Matt chose yummy street food from MorMor. There was some fab speeches, a pub quiz and then more dancing. It was a fab day! Thanks so much for having me Esme and Matt.
