Jess and Paul got married at Styal Lodge, which is a venue in Cheshire with vast rooms. It was a gorgeous day and the sun shone all day long! It felt like a summers day in March (until the wind blew and reminded us all it was in fact not a summers day!) This Styal Lodge Cheshire wedding is the perfect spring wedding though!
THE VOWS
The ceremony was an intimate affair under a flower arch. During the ceremony they had a beautiful reading. It was really beautiful. They decorated the area with flowers, which I loved. The reception was in a beautiful room at Styal Lodge – I love this venue because you can totally personalise it and there is so much space for everyone to enjoy. Weddings at Styal Lodge are amazing because the space is full of light.
WHY STYAL LODGE IS A GREAT PLACE TO GET MARRIED
Styal Lodge is really peaceful and secluded, nestled in the middle of a golf course, and is one of the best places to get married in Cheshire. The venue offers onsite parking so guests don’t have to walk – and there is a lovely garden for everyone to chill in.
THE AFTERNOON
The couple had live music in the afternoon and a photobooth in the evening. The best man actually made the photobooth after seeing a youtube tutorial – it was amazing! For dinner, they had a slap-up meal, and the first dance was a romantic slow dance. They finished off the evening with lots of chatting and dancing.
THE COUPLE
Jess wore a classic white dress and Paul wore a three-piece suit and they looked really lovely.
The couple got in touch with me a few years ago. They said they wanted a relaxed photographer, and I loved that they were looking for a really chilled out day.
ADVICE FOR PLANNING YOUR WEDDING AT STYAL LODGE
I don’t think any of us had realised just how fast a golf buggy can go! When you head down for portraits at the lake, be sure to hold on tight!
