Amy and Jamie got married at Rowton Hall Hotel & Spa, which is a country house in Chester with stunning grounds. It was such a fun day and even the weather played ball! This Rowton Hall Hotel and Spa wedding was so much fun to be a part of!
THE CEREMONY
The ceremony, like the rest of the day, was at the gorgeous Rowton Hall Hotel & Spa – I love this venue because the light is gorgeous for portraits and candids. Weddings at Rowton Hall Hotel & Spa are amazing because the photo ops are endless. The ceremony was an intimate service in a beautiful room with wood panelling and blossom trees. During the ceremony, they had several beautiful readings from friends and family.
THE RECEPTION
The couple had lawn games in the afternoon (bean bag toss was particularly popular!) and even a big game of tug of war with all the wedding guests. For dinner, they had a slap-up meal and surprised their guests with a brilliant singing waitress.
THE EVENING
In the evening there were more lawn games. Amy had a sack race with her Dad and brothers which was very funny! They had sparklers before lots of dancing.
THE COUPLE
Amy and Jamie are just such a lovely couple. They made me feel so welcome. They met during an Asda interview 14 years ago and have been together ever since. They got engaged on a family walk with their son at the same place they had their first kiss many years before. Amy and Jamie wanted a wedding full of fun and so they planned lots of games and entertainment. The couple got in touch with me last year, and their enquiry was really touching. They said they wanted a relaxed photographer, and I loved that they were so relaxed. They said they really didn’t like posing and so it seemed we would be the perfect fit as I don’t like to spend hours making people pose!
