The Maynard Sheffield Wedding

IF YOU’RE PLANNING AN THE MAYNARD SHEFFIELD WEDDING, YOU’LL LOVE THIS WEDDING FOR INSPIRATION!

Jess and Will got married at The Maynard, which is a hotel in Sheffield with countryside views. It was a beautiful day and even the rain didn’t dampen the day! This The Maynard Sheffield wedding was a beautiful autumnal day. 

THE WEDDING

The ceremony was a beautiful service in the couple’s home church. During the ceremony, they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was such a personal service.

They decorated the area with fairy lights, which I loved. The reception was in a beautiful room at The Maynard – I love this venue because it’s so cosy and relaxed. Weddings at The Maynard are amazing because the location is so close to Padley Gorge and the whole area is stunning.

WHY THE MAYNARD IS A GREAT PLACE TO GET MARRIED

The Maynard is perfect for couples who want a big party and is one of the nicest places to get married in Sheffield. The venue offers a free wedding planner – and there are loads of amazing places that are perfect for photos.

THE PARTY

The couple had a cocktail drinks reception in the afternoon, and snook off for some photographs at Padley Gorge on the way. For dinner they had proper wedding grub, and the first dance involved the wedding party getting on the dancefloor to get the dancing going. They finished off the evening with lots of dancing.

THE COUPLE

Jess wore a lacy dress and Will wore a stunning trouser suit and they looked really gorgeous.

The couple got in touch with me last minute, and their enquiry was really lovely. They said they wanted a relaxed photographer, and I loved that they were planning an autumn wedding.

ADVICE FOR PLANNING YOUR WEDDING AT THE MAYNARD

Definitely head to Padley Gorge for some stunning photos! It is just a few minutes drive and well worth getting your dress a bit muddy for.
