Nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside, Holmfirth Vineyard is an absolute dream of a wedding venue. I have wanted to work at this stunning spot for years, so I felt delighted when Natalie and Hamiz asked me to photograph their big day. I truly loved my first experience of Holmfirth Vineyard wedding photography!
A Relaxed Morning Together
Natalie and Hamiz planned a small and intimate wedding with their nearest and dearest. Instead of following the usual tradition, they chose to get ready together and then personally greeted all of their guests before the ceremony. I loved this relaxed approach! It even gave us the opportunity for some beautiful portraits before the Imam arrived to conduct the couple’s Nikah.
Golden Hour in the Yorkshire Hills
The weather stayed absolutely beautiful all day, so we definitely made the most of those iconic Yorkshire views. The sun set right across the valley from Holmfirth Vineyard, which bathed the entire landscape in the most gorgeous golden light. It provided the perfect backdrop for some quiet moments between the new Mr and Mrs.
Limbo and Dancing
The couple finished their celebrations with plenty of energy! Everyone hit the dancefloor for lots of dancing, which eventually led to an impromptu and very funny round of limbo.
