Megan and Ben got married at Rudding Park, which is a country house in Harrogate with countryside views. It was a beautiful day and the sun shone all day long!
The ceremony
The ceremony was a legal ceremony in a beautiful room. Megan and Beb chose the simple ceremony so they could get legal part out of the way and get on with celebrating with their guests.
They decorated the area with lovely flowers and feathers. The reception was in the main hall at Rudding Park – I love this venue because it is so luxurious and spacious. Weddings at Rudding Park are amazing because the surroundings are completely stunning.
Why Rudding Park is a great place to get married
Rudding Park is really peaceful and secluded and is one of the loveliest places to get married in Harrogate. The venue offers onsite bedrooms so guests don’t have to leave early – and everywhere you look – both inside and out – is gorgeous.
The reception
The couple had mini-golf in the afternoon and a photo booth in the evening. They had a live singer, Holly Tandy, through the ceremony until the first dance and she was amazing. They had some of the most special and emotional speeches I’ve ever heard and then enjoyed a slap-up meal. Everyone loved the mini0gold provided by 9 Hole Events. Their first dance was a good old traditional wedding shuffle to ‘In the Arms of an Angel’, which was so beautifully sung by Holly. They finished off the evening with lots of chatting and dancing. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of their day!
The couple
Megan wore a lacy dress and Ben wore a three-piece suit and they looked really dapper.
The couple got in touch with me last year, and their enquiry was really touching. They said that they had had a tough few years and were really looking forward to getting all their family and friends together for a happy occasion.
