Mitton Hall Wedding Photography

Jun 17, 2024

Last weekend was my first time photographing at Mitton Hall and what a brilliant venue! Will and Lucy got married at St Mary’s Church, Fernyhalgh where many of Lucy’s family members have been married. Father Matthew Power, who Lucy knows from when she was at school, was able to travel over to conduct the ceremony, which was a lovely touch. The Church is absolutely beautiful and it was lovely for them to get married at such a special place to them.

After a lovely service, confetti and some group photos we headed accross to Mitton Hall. They enjoyed drinks and magic tricks in the original tudor hall before heading into the conservatory for their reception. They had some brilliant speeches and then a gorgeous dinner. One of my favourite parts was when they took some time out to video call with Will’s grandparents who couldn’t make it to the wedding. I love that they were ready with a glass of cherry to celebrate with the happy couple.

Although we had dark clouds all day, it didn’t rain and the sun even came out before the couple did their first dance. The wedding ended with a confetti canons, dancing and more food. Such a perfect day! Thank you so much to Will and Lucy for having me along to your Mitton Hall wedding.
