MERCHANT ADVENTURERS’ HALL YORK WEDDING

Apr 23, 2021

IF YOU’RE A PLANNING A MERCHANT ADVENTURERS’ HALL YORK WEDDING, YOU’LL LOVE THIS WEDDING FOR INSPIRATION!

Claire and Rob got married at Merchant Adventurers’ Hall, which is a Tudor hall in York with the most beautiful historical features. It was a beautiful day and I loved being a part of it! This Merchant Aventurers’ Hall Wedding was a great example of how perfect York is or a wedding.

GETTING HITCHED

The ceremony was very small with just 9 guests. During the ceremony, the couple could not stop smiling after postponing their wedding for a year. It was really emotional.

THE RECEPTION

The couple and I headed into York in the afternoon, and for an extended photoshoot. I never normally have this much time with a couple on a wedding day and I LOVED the opportunity to get creative. We then headed back to Claire’s parent’s garden where they had an intimate reception with their parents. Oh and a six foot dinosaur! They had a beautiful deli picnic and it was a very joyous afternoon.

THE COUPLE

Claire wore a lacy dress and Rob wore a lovely suit and they looked really dapper. Claire’s flowers were one of the most beautiful bouquets I’d ever seen.

The couple got in touch with me after meeting me at a wedding fair at the Merchant Adventurers Hall, and their enquiry was really touching. They said they had enjoyed meeting me and felt I would be a perfect fit for their day, and I loved that they seemed so much fun. As I said earlier their plans were postponed due to covid and they had originally planned a big party at The Merchant Adventurers Hall and ended up changing plans to fit in with government guidance. This did not dampen anyone’s spirits and they had the most amazing wedding. I will always treasure having been a part of it.
