IF YOU’RE PLANNING A HOLME VALLEY MARQUEES WEDDING, YOU’LL LOVE THIS ONE!
Beth and Al had a gorgeous Holme Valley Marquees wedding. It was a beautiful day full of fun, laughter, DIY details and lots of brilliant entertainment. It was a pleasure to photograph their day,
GETTING READY
Beth and Al’s wedding was full of lols from start to finish. I headed over to photograph Beth and her maids at the cottage they rented (Ford Cottage). The cottage was just a short drive from Digley Reservoir. This is the second time I’ve shot a bridal prep here and it really is one of the most gorgeous houses to get ready in! Beth had all seven bridesmaids and her mum getting ready with her, and there was a lovely happy atmosphere throughout the house, especially when the delivery of breakfast butties arrived. My lovely second shooter, Lily, headed over to Beth and Al’s house to meet the groom and his men, before heading up to the Junction Pub for a few drinks before the ceremony.
THE CEREMONY
Beth and Al were married in Beth’s home church of Gledholt Methodist. It was a really lovely ceremony with lots of their friends and family taking on various parts. They then headed straight off to have a few chilled portraits at Digley Reservoir, before driving up Holme Valley Marquees. The marquee was gorgeously decorated and it was clear how much hard work, creativity and love had gone into the preparations.
THE RECEPTION AT HOLME VALLEY MARQUEES
As the guests sat down for their delicious meal by Mustard and Punch, little did they know they would be shortly interrupted by two very special waiters from Singing Staff. These guys were fantastic and had the whole room on their feet dancing and singing! It was soooo much fun to photograph! The speeches finished with a surprise Jägerbomb toast! The atmosphere was amazing, the guests were so lovely and it was an absolute pleasure for Lily and me to photograph it. Thank you so much for having us guys!
