FOX & GOOSE PUDDING PIE HILL CHESTERFIELD WEDDING

IF YOU’RE PLANNING A  FOX & GOOSE PUDDING PIE HILL CHESTERFIELD WEDDING CHECK THIS OUT FOR INSPO!

I met Jess and Tom for a coffee before they booked with me. We chatted for ages about New York (both Jess and I celebrated our 30th birthday there) and all their wedding plans. I knew from our chat that they were planning an epic wedding with a focus on family and fun and they planned something that was a real treat for all their guests to be a part of. This Fox and Goose Pudding Pie Hill Chesterfield wedding was such an amazing day from start to finish.

GETTING READY

Jess hired a lovely little cottage a short drive from the Fox and Goose (a short drive, that is, following Jess’ instructions to get through a maze of Chesterfield country roads). It was a really chilled morning with her parents, bridesmaids, bridesman and flower girls, the bucks fizz was flowing and it was a lovely atmosphere. My second shooter, Becki, headed to The Fox and Goose to meet Tom and get some snaps of the guests arriving.

THE CEREMONY

The ceremony took place inside the Fox and Goose. It was a lovely ceremony with tears! Everyone then came out into the courtyard where we could all admire the gorgeous Tipi standing in pride of place on the little hill at the back of the pub. It really was breathtaking! Lots of confetti was thrown on the happy couple and then they headed off alone in the VW camper for a little walk in the moors. Here we got some absolutely breathtaking photographs in the most gorgeous countryside. I did not envy them climbing the hill in the summer heat in their wedding attire (and in Jess’ case, a broken flipflop) but they did it with big smiles on their faces.

THE RECEPTION

Back at the Fox and Goose, it was time for some very emotional speeches (Jess’ Dad did amazing at getting through the tears) and a yummy afternoon tea. It was a little too much for their flower girl, who had a nap on a beanbag just behind the top table. Jess and Tom and the team at Bar Events UK had done the most amazing decorations in the Tipi and it really was like an enchanted world.

THE EVENING

The afternoon merged seamlessly into the evening with the celebrations continuing into the night. The highlight of the night for me was the ‘rave’ with light sticks and confetti canons at dusk. The cheers and laughter echoed into the night.
