Beeston Manor Wedding Photography

Jun 30, 2025

This one was extra special for me! I have seen Laura and Helen as guests at three other weddings I’ve photographed, so when they asked me to capture their own big day, I was absolutely over the moon. It felt like catching up with old friends! What was even more exciting was that although the other weddings were in Yorkshire when I lived there, this happened to be in my new town of Preston!

A Relaxed and Happy Wedding at Beeston Manor

Beeston Manor is a gorgeous family-run venue set in the Lancashire countryside. It was the perfect setting for Laura and Helen’s day because it has such a warm, welcoming feel which matched their personalities perfectly.

Helen and Laura both got ready at Beeson Manor. They had breakfast together and then headed to separate parts of the hotel to get ready. It was a calm and lovely morning. The guests arrived and headed for drinks before heading to the ceremony room.

The Wedding Ceremony at Beeston Manor

The ceremony itself was incredibly emotional and special. The couple walked one at a time, Helen with her mum and Laura with her parents. The look on their faces when they saw each other was priceles. Laura’s brother did a gorgeous reading which got both of them crying.

After the “I dos” everyone headed outside for drinks and canapes. They had set out garden games for their guests to enjoy in the sunshine.

The Speeches

When it came to the speeches, Laura and Helen took the mic themselves. They focused on sharing wonderful family memories, and it was such a beautiful way to honour Helen’s mum and Laura’s family. It felt so personal and heartfelt.

The Evening Reception

Laura and Helen hosted a fun pub quiz after the speeches, which was lots of fun! This was followed by a drinks reception featuring board games. This was such a simple idea but everyone got stuck in, and you could hear the laughter down the corridor.

The rest of the evening was just pure joy with guests enjoying the garden games until sunset and a packed dancefloor. The whole day was just so relaxed and happy from start to finish.

Laura and Helen, thank you so much for finally letting me photograph your brilliant day. I loved every single second!
