Beckie and Sader got married at Holdsworth House, which is a country house in Halifax with a pretty garden. It was such a beautiful Day! Beckie is original from Halifax and met Sader whilst working in Qatar. The couple got legally married overseas but decided to head back for a British wedding celebration. This Holdsworth House Halifax wedding was such a stunning day to photograph.
THE CEREMONY
The ceremony was a beautiful service in a walled garden. It was touch and go if it could happen as the rain was on and off, but everyone was so pleased that they could have their ceremony outside. Beckie’s Dad acted as celebrant in the ceremony and the couple read their own vows. It was really beautiful. They decorated the area with fairy lights, which I loved.
The reception was in the main hall at Holdsworth House – I love this venue because it’s so cosy and relaxed. Weddings at Holdsworth House are amazing because the surroundings are so gorgeous.

Holdsworth House is really peaceful and secluded and is one of the best places to get married in Halifax. The venue offers an onsite hotel so guests don’t have to travel home – and there are so many beautiful spots that are perfect for photos.
THE PARTY
The couple had drinks and canapes in the afternoon and a photo booth in the evening. For dinner, they had a roast dinner, and the first dance involved the wedding party getting on the dancefloor to get the dancing going. There was lots of Lebanese dancing which was fantastic.
