This was the most AMAZING day with the BEST group of people. It was my first wedding of the 2026 season, and I feel like I have peaked right at the beginning!
Blencowe Hall is such a stunning place. It is a holiday home and wedding venue in one, making it the perfect spot for a weekend of celebrations. The couple’s spaniels, Mable and Arnie, were able to be part of their whole day too—I LOVE dogs at weddings!
Lauren and Owen’s wedding was in March, but I think you’ll agree from the photographs that it was more like a summer’s day! It was such a joy to capture their ceremony outside, with Blencowe Hall in the background, especially since they thought it would be unlikely to happen. The drinks reception and canapés were enjoyed on the lawn, as well as a few games of questionably ruled croquet (does anyone actually know the rules??).
We all headed to the barn room (The Byre) for the speeches and meal. This was followed by a little sunset walk and a game of beer pong, and the day finished with lots of dancing.
