Wahoo! Lauren and James had the most beautiful winter wedding at West Tower in Ormskirk. This day focused entirely on family and fun. I absolutely loved how the couple put their two children at the very center of the celebrations.
This was my first time photographing at The West Tower Ormskirk and it’s even lovelier than I expected. There is such a lovely atmosphere and so many lovely features and spaces to explore.
Getting Ready at West Tower
The couple both got ready at the venue but stayed in separate areas so they didn’t see each other before the big moment. Lauren laughs all the time and her smile is so infectious! She is a total joy to photograph.
The Ceremony and Reception at West Tower
After their lovely legal ceremony, everyone headed outside for a massive shower of confetti and some celebratory drinks. The winter weather behaved itself perfectly. This allowed us to get through all the group photos and capture some gorgeous portraits in the grounds.
The speeches provided the perfect mix of laughter and tears. It felt so moving to hear about their journey as a family. Once the sun went down, I took advantage of the stunning fairy lights outside to capture some magical winter portraits of the new Mr and Mrs.
The Partaaayyyy
Lauren and James couldn’t wait to get the party started! They actually brought their first dance forward because they felt so excited to hit the dancefloor with their favorite people. What an amazing, amazing day!
