Ceri and Chris got married at The Priests House at Barden Tower, which is an old church in Skipton with countryside views. It was a gorgeous day and even the rain didn’t dampen the day! This Priests House Barden Tower wedding is the ultimate DIY wedding in the Dales.
GETTING HITCHED
The ceremony was an intimate affair in a stunning chapel. During the ceremony, they read their own vows which were very emotional and they made it such a personal service.
They decorated the area with wildflowers, which I loved. The reception was at Bolton Abbey Village Hall at The Priests House at Barden Tower. I love this venue because you can totally personalise it. Weddings at The Priests House at Barden Tower are amazing because the light is completely stunning.

The Priests House at Barden Tower is really peaceful and secluded and is one of the best places to get married in Skipton. The venue offers an amazing atmosphere for a wedding because it is such a wonderful place of history. There are so many beautiful spots that are perfect for photos. which makes it the perfect setting.
THE RECEPTION
The couple headed to Bolton Abbey village hall for their reception. They had a drinks reception, photo booth and lawn games in the afternoon, and a live band in the evening. For dinner, they had a roast dinner, followed by lots of ice cream! The first dance was a good old traditional wedding shuffle.
